Opportunities to Serve

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Greeting guests and members before our worship gathering is highly valuable. Most guest will decide if they will return within the first few minutes of their experience with us. Guests are first introduced to our church when they meet our first impressions team. The greatest assets for serving in this area are big smiles, timeliness, and a willingness to welcome all attenders with warmth and joy. When attenders receive a smile from you their worship service has begun. The First Impression Team must be in place no later than 10 AM.
A preschool volunteer serves on Sundays for our worship gathering. The volunteer will be trained and will serve with at least one other adult. The worship gatherings last one hour and fifteen minutes usually. The curriculum is video driven and therefore less preparation time is required. The kids and adults love the ministry and your abilities will surely increase the excitement we are feeling. You can volunteer by contacting Pastor Andrew Duncan.

The core values of our “UP!” Kids Ministry are found in Luke 2:52. Our prayer is that children come to saving faith in Christ and develop into fully devoted followers of Him. Our primary strategy to help children grow in their faith and relationships with one another is through our Sunday morning elementary ministry.

1st though 5th grades attend the music portion of our worship and then exit with trained and background checked leaders for a teaching time of their own. Students will be brought back to parents as soon as the worship gathering concludes. CLICK HERE to volunteer. We love our children and our volunteers. We require volunteers to undergo a background check and training with a ministry leader.
TECHNICAL MINISTRIES
Our technical ministry team is an invaluable resource to our Sunday morning worship gathering. The team is primarily responsible for lighting, sound, and staging. Members are also welcome to join our creative meetings where we plan creative elements for the upcoming sermons series. Technical team members will be on a rotation and are required to attend the worship rehearsal usually scheduled for 6  pm on Thursday evenings and to attend Sunday morning rehearsal starting at 9:00 am. Let us know if you can serve.
WORSHIP CENTER PREPERATION
The worship center preparation team is tasked with preparing the worship center spiritually and physically for the next worship gathering. The duties assigned are to remove the trash from all areas including the bathrooms and chairs. Restocking the toilet paper and wiping down the counters and mirrors are essential. We do ask those volunteering for this role to pray over the room and the chairs as they serve. The prayers of God’s people will make what happens on Sundays last for eternity. Two people can accomplish this in 15 minutes. You can volunteer once a month or once every three months. Join the team now!
Our worship arts ministry is responsible for planning and leading the worship gathering each Sunday. If you have a passion and the gift to lead vocally, play an instrument, design and build backdrops, film and edit video, or if you just have a flare for the creative side of things, we would love to hear from you. Our worship arts team primarily meets for vision casting, planning and rehearsal on Thursdays at 6pm.  Please fill out the form.
We desire for every attender of Mercy Fellowship to be on mission. Currently, we support several organizations. If you are interested in serving contact Pastor Andrew Duncan for a list of opportunities.

PARKING
Our parking team is the front line in welcoming guests and regular attenders. The team meets on Sundays at 10am for prayer and then directs cars to appropriate places. God has provided plenty of parking so the task is really to welcome people with a giant smile and be sure they make their way to the entrance of the church. The parking team is also tasked to provide reporting on issues that may arise on the church property.  Volunteer today.

PRAYER TEAM
Our prayer team is the fuel that fires Mercy Fellowship. This team’s primary responsibilities are to pray over the worship gatherings and to lend prayer support for our members in need. It is the Father’s heart to hear from His people. When we pray things happen! Will you join our prayer team.

LEGACY TEAM

The Legacy Team at Mercy Fellowship Church is a dedicated group of individuals who go above and beyond to support our mission and expand the reach of Christ’s message. By contributing their time, influence, and resources, members of the Legacy Team play a vital role in advancing our vision and leaving a lasting impact on our community and beyond. Our Legacy Team members are key to driving forward the church’s vision. Through their generous support, we can fund and support various projects, educational initiatives, missions, and outreach efforts both locally and globally. Their contributions help accelerate our ability to serve and transform lives.
